It was difficult to find the company we wanted to use for our log package. At a log home expo in Nashville, we met Colin and Shane from Chilliwack Mountain Log Homes in British Columbia, Canada. Their work was beautiful, and I've always loved the look of handcrafted logs. We got a quote from them that was very reasonable, and the next day, we traveled to look at a home they had done in Blue Ridge, GA. It was awesome, and we were sold. They cut and assemble the home on their site in Canada, mark all the logs, and then disassemble it, truck it here, and put it up again. The following pictures are ones they sent from their work yard in Canada. Right now the logs are set to arrive the first week of March 2006.
